Have you ever listened to the world? I mean really listened—taken a walk at 2 in the morning and just listened to all the sounds around you? The world has so much music in it. Maybe sometimes, one person can harness an infinitesimal section of the music of the universe and put it into a short song, but they didn’t really write it; they just borrowed it from God for a time. They’re stewards of it…holding onto it while they’re here and calling it their own. But I think that after we all die, we’ll all be able to hear all the songs that the universe screams to us—not just the ones that humans have written, but ones that man couldn’t have even dreamed of—music that emanates from all of creation. I think maybe music is just the breath of the universe, singing praises to it’s Creator.

Hey guys, i’m gonna ask you all for a huge favor.

First though, i’m going to explain what’s going on. You may not know this, but me and Myron are going to start taking youtube a little more seriously. He’s going to get a vlog going, which i’m sure i’ll be a pretty big part of, and he’s gonna be featured and helping out in some of my new videos. Basically, we’re going into partnership and are going to start trying to provide some quality content for you guys. (that means better quality sound and video especially) But here’s the tricky part. We LOVE making youtube stuff (who wouldn’t? I adore making music, and he loves making videos in general and commentating), and quite frankly, we love talking to you guys. But to make a long story short, we simply can’t do it alone. In order for this to work, (and here’s where that whole huge favor thing comes in) we’re going to need you guys to help us out a ton. It’s not very challenging stuff though. We’re simply asking you guys to start sharing videos with people, liking videos, subscribing to our channels, and whatnot. Not super challenging right? As fun as it is, and as much as we like it, we NEED you guys more than anything else. Your participation is what is going to make this happen or not. Because, while we love making videos, putting them up for an empty screen and an audience that doesn’t care just isn’t worth all the trouble it takes to make the videos. And don’t think that you can’t help because you’re just one person. Every single one of you means the world to us.

Sometimes I wonder how certain words can be put together so perfectly that, when we hear them, something in our souls stirs and takes flight, releasing with it a sort of cold understanding and humility; where the more subtle yearnings of our hearts, the ones we have carefully locked away behind a hedge of consciousness, are laid mercilessly bare upon paper, and we are faced with our own humanity.
